Hello! I'm Chelsea, and I'm an assistant professor at Temple University.
I received a Ph.D. in Psychology at Cornell University in 2014, where I worked primarily with David Pizarro, Tom Gilovich, and BJ Casey. I then worked as a postdoctoral research scientist with Kevin Ochsner in the SCAN lab.
My research focuses on how emotion influences judgment and decision-making across multiple domains, including moral behavior, self-regulation, and thinking about the self (and others). To investigate these processes, I utilize multiple methods across both adult and developmental populations, including functional neuroimaging, implicit and explicit behavioral measures, and large-scale field studies.
