Hello! I'm Chelsea, and I'm a postdoctoral research scientist at Columbia University, working with Kevin Ochsner in the SCAN lab. I received a Ph.D. in Psychology at Cornell University, where I worked primarily with David Pizarro, Tom Gilovich, and BJ Casey.
My research focuses on how emotion influences judgment and decision-making across multiple domains, including moral behavior, self-regulation, and thinking about the self (and others). To investigate these processes, I utilize multiple methods across both adult and developmental populations, including functional neuroimaging, implicit and explicit behavioral measures, and large-scale field studies.
**I will be starting as an Assistant Professor in the Temple University Psychology Department in July 2019--I am currently accepting PhD students to start in Fall 2019. if you are interested in joining the lab or learning more about my research, feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
